Besitzarbeit VI (Mutter), 1999

Die Gegenstände aus Florian Slotawa´s Wohnung und sein Auto wurden für die Dauer der Ausstellung nach Kassel gebracht. Im Museum wurden sie zu 13 Türmen gestapelt, jeder so hoch wie die Mutter des Künstlers. Da das Auto nicht durch die Tür passte, stand es im Portikus vor dem Museum auf Stapeln von Tellern und Büchern, so dass es auch die Höhe von 161 cm erreichte. 

Private possessions of the artist were brought to the museum for the duration of the exhibit. They were stacked into 13 towers, each as tall as the artist’s mother. The car, which didn’t fit through the door of the museum, was parked in front and raised on piles of plates and books to the height of 161 cm.
