One after the Other, 2007

Die Räume der Kunsthalle blieben für die Dauer der Ausstellung leer. Neu eingezogene Wände bildeten einen Parcours durchs Gebäude, der an einer hölzernen Treppe endete. Die Stufen führten hinauf zu einer Plattform unterhalb einer Öffnung in der Decke. Von diesem Standort aus war das gesamte leere Obergeschoss einsehbar, konnte aber nicht betreten werden.

The rooms of the art institution remained empty for the duration of the exhibit. Newly erected walls rerouted the visitors through the building on a course which ended at a wooden stairway. The stairs ascended to a platform below the punctured ceiling, a position from which the empty story above could be viewed but not entered.
